RESOLUTION NO._R_ 7cP-
A RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING OCTOBER 9th THROUGH
OCTOBER 14th AS ITALIAN-AMERICAN WEEK IN THE
CITY OF TAMARAC; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida,
is aware of the contributions made by the Italian -American
people; and
WHEREAS, the Italian -Americans have brought to this country
their traditions and culture which blended together with
cultures and traditions of many other nations have made this
country great.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida,
is desirous of proclaiming October 9th through October 14th, 1978
as "Italian -American Week".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Tamarac,
Florida supports execution of a -Mayoral Proclamation to
designate the week of October 9th through October 14th, 1978 as
"Italian -American Week" in Tamarac.
SECTION 2: This resolution shall become effective immediate
upon its passage.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this a7 day o _ 1978.

to aid and advance the doc.ial, chan.itable, 6&atennal and civic
