CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. )I - 7P-/(a /
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO THE
STATE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES,
DECLARING THAT THE WATERWAYS IN TAMARAC
ARE PUBLIC WATERWAYS.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac, Broward County, is a Govern-
mental Authority responsible for management in order to promote
and protect the lands, waters, and people within its boundaries;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac has the power to levy taxes
on land only within the authority's boundaries, in order to finance
the implementation of its various duties; and
WHEREAS, the waterways are maintained for the benefit of
the land and population with public tax monies levied on the land
only within the authority's respective areas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the waters contained in the City of
Tamarac, Broward County, are public waters.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED the day of September, 1978.
