CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R- ]09-IK3
A RESOLUTION RE -AFFIRMING AND ACKNOWLEDGING
APPOINTMENTS TO THE REDISTRICTING COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, Section 6.03 of the City Charter mandates establishment
of a Redistricting Commission by October 1st of each even -numbered
year, and
WHEREAS, Mayor Falck has designated Councilwoman Marge Kelch as
the Council representative to this Commission, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has designated FAU/FIU Joint Center
for Environmental and Urban Problems as the agency representing the
three public members to the Commission, and
WHEREAS, the Charter Board has designated Mr. Richard Entin as
the Charter Board representative to this Commission, and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to re -affirm its appointments
and acknowledge the Charter Board appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Councilwoman Marjorie Kelch is hereby appointed
as the Council representative to the 1978 Redistricting Commission.
SECTION 2: That Mr. Richard Entin is hereby acknowledged as the
Charter Board representative to the 1978 Redistricting Commission.
SECTION 3: That the FAU/FIU Joint Center for Environmental and
Urban Problems is hereby appointed as the agency representing the
three public members to the 1978 Redistricting Commission.
SECTION 4: That the fee to be paid to the FAU/FIU Joint Center
has been approved by both parties at a figure not to exceed $912.80.
