RESOLUTION N0.1 f7 d
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SPECIAL USE EX-
CEPTION FOR CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGES AT CLOISTER RESTAURANT.
WHEREAS, the Code of the City of Tamarac provides for
the granting of special exceptions by the City Council after
a Public Hearing; and
WHEREAS, ARCH, INC., d/b/a CLOISTER RESTAURANT, has
applied for a special exception to permit the consumption of
alcoholic beverages on the premises of the Cloister Restau-
rant, located within Parc61B of the Mainlands of Tamarac Lakes
Ninth Section, according to the Plat thereof, recorded in
Plat Book. 67, Page 48, of the Public Records of Broward County,
Florida, (Tamarac Shopping Plaza- N. E. corner of University
Drive and N. W. 57th Street); and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing has been held on October 12th,
1978, and the public has been given an opportunity to express
their views concerning the application for Special Exception;
and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Tamarac finds
that the petition for special exception would be in keeping
with the public health, safety and general welfare of the
City of Tamarac.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY,THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the petition for special excep-
tion to permit the consumption of alcoholic beverages on the
premises of the Cloister Restaurant, is hereby APPROVED.
