CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. 2- ZY-/%
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF
MAYORAL PROCLAMATIOM DECLARING THE MONTH
OF NOVEMBER, 1978, as B'NAI Brith MONTH.
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to express its support of
the exemplary goals of the international chapters of B'Nai Brith
Men and B'Nai Brith Women, and
WHEREAS, the City Council also desires to recognize the
memberships of both the B'Nai Brith Men Tamarac Chapter, and
the B'Nai Brith Women, Tamarac Chapter for their efforts to promote
the B'Nai Brith goals throughout the City of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to declare November, 1978, as
B'Nai Brith Month by authorizing the issuance of a Mayoral Proclamation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The City Council does hereby authorize the issuance
of Mayoral Proclamations declaring November, 1978, as B'Nai Brith
Month, to honor
the
international goals and the local memberships of
B'Nai Brith Men
and
B'Nai Brith Women, Tamarac Chapters.
SECTION 2:
This
Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon it adoption.
