CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SETTLEMENT OF
CLAIM
WHEREAS, Thelma Meyer, a former City employee has
contested her separation from the City; and
WHEREAS, the City determines that it is in its best
interests to conclude all outstanding matters with Ms. Meyer; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Meyer has offered to provide the City
and its past and present employees a release of all claims in
exchange- for final compensation of $150.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City's administration is
authorized and directed to pay $150.00 to Ms. Thelma Meyer as
final settlement of any and all outstanding claims in exchange
for a release of the City and all past and current employees,
said release to be in a form acceptable to the City Attorney.
SECTION 2: All Resolutions in conflict herewith
are repealed to the extent of the conflict.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall take effect
immediately upon adoption.
