NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That the proposal of National Sheriff's Association in the amount bid for separate categories as set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto is hereby accepted. In addition to the parties covered by the specifications, the City Manager is hereby authorized to obtain coverage for the City of Tamarac, City Attorney, City Manager, Chief Building Official, Code Enforcement Officer, individual councilmembers and any other employee for whom coverage may be obtained under the policy. SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption. The program of insurance offered through the National Sheriffs' Association is an excellent one. There are several points I would like to make: 1. This program is issued by Ideal Mutual Insurance Company of New York. It is non assessable and carries a Best's rating of A -Excellent. 2.
