CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.2-7d?'/9/
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN
AGREEMENT ENGAGING LAWRENCE BROWNING AS
ARCHITECT FOR PROPOSED EAST SIDE FIRE
STATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council has duly advertised for
proposals from architects for its proposed East Side Fire Station,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has interviewed architects
as required by the Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act, and
WHEREAS, the City has negotiated with Lawrence
Browning, Architect, after finding him to be the highest ranked
architect with whom it could arrive at a mutually acceptable
agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That all the prerequisites to engaging an
architect for the East Side Fire Station as set forth in the
Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act have been satisfied.
SECTION 2: That the appropriate City officials are
authorized to execute an agreement with Lawrence Browning,
Architect, for a fee not to exceed $8,000.00.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall be effective
immediately.
