Reso. #1145 1 CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA 2 RESOLUTION # 9-7?-48-�-- 3 A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SPECIAL USE EXCEP- 4 TION TO PERMIT A BRANCH BANKING FACILITY WITH DRIVE-IN FACILITIES, TO LOCATE IN A B-1 ZON- 5 ING DISTRICT (LOCATED ON EAST SIDE OF N.W. 79th AVENUE BETWEEN COMMERCIAL BOULEVARD AND 6 N. W. 57th STREET ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE TAMARAC POST OFFICE). 7 8 WHEREAS, the Code of the City of Tamarac provides for the 9 granting of special exceptions by the City Council after a Public 10 Hearing; and 11 WHEREAS, The Century National Bank of Tamarac, has ap- 12 plied for a special exception (Petition #29-Z-78), to permit a 13 branch banking facility with drive-in facilities to locate in a 14 B-1 Zoning District, located on East side of N. W. 79th Avenue 15 between Commercial Boulevard and N. W. 57th Street across the street 16 from the Tamarac Post Office; and 17 WHEREAS, a Public Hearing has been held November22, 1978, f 18 and the public has been given an opportunity to express.their views 19 concerning the application for special exception; and 20 WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Tamarac finds that 21 the petition for special exception would be in keeping with the pub- 22 lic interest, safety and general welfare of the City of Tamarac. 23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE 24 CITY.OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: 25 SECTION 1: That the petition for special exception 26 to permit The Century National Bank of Tamarac a branch banking 27 facility with drive-in facilities, in a B-1 zoning district, 28 is hereby APPROVED. The City of Tamarac notes that a conceptual 29 site plan has been submitted. The site plan is not a factor in 30 the approval and all requirements of the City concerning site plan, 31 ' plat, building, etc., must still be complied with. 32 33 34 Temp.
