WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac has heretofore advertised for bids for lighting of Tamarac Park baseball field; and - WHEREAS, the Council is desirous of awarding the bid to the lowest and best bidder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: Section 1: That the bid of HAYDEN ELECTRIC CO. in the amount of $29,990.00 is hereby APPROVED, SUBJECT to approval of the contractor by the Broward County Community Development Division. COMPANY N, 561 S.W. 9 Tarr, Pomp: BCh SPECIFICATIONS FOR REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL TO ILLUMINATE BALL FIELD # 2, TAMARAC PARK SCOPE OF WORK: This proposal will include a 400 ampere service for lighting of the Tamarac Park, ballfield f 2. Lighting will be sufficent to give 20 lumens of light on the outfield and 30 lumens of light on the infield. MINIMUM LIGHTING STANDARDS: CODE: WAGE RATES: 1) Six (6) each 50 foot concrete poles with two (2) each 1500 watt outdoor lighting fixtures per pole. 2) Two (2) each 50 foot concrete poles with six (6) each 1500 watt outdoor lighting fixtures per pole. All work will be done in accordance with the South Florida Building Code (1977 edition) and National Electrical Code (1978 edition). All work will be warranted for workmanship for a period of one year including lamps. Federal Labor Standards provisions regarding Community Development Block Grant Programs shall supersede Section 215.19 Florida Statutes. Wage Rate decision published in Federal Register, Vol. 42, # 247, Friday, December 23, 1977 shal17 prevail, as well as Order 11246 of the Equal Employment Opportunity clause, for contracts including Section 3 clauses.
