TO EXECUTE A. PERSONAL PROPERTY LEASE WITH

WHEREAS, a need has been established for use of motor-
cycles to enhance the traffic protection of the City; and
WHEREAS, Ptl. Earl John Tefft owns a motorcycle which
he has offered to be used by the City as an integral part of the
function of the Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the compensation for said use will be
One ($1.00) Dollar per annum for lease, and payment by the City
for insurance, uniform addition, accessories including but not
limited to radio and police lights and vehicle maintenance; and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the need for motor-
cycle patrol in the City and wishes to authorize execution of said
lease.,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Manager is hereby autho-
rized to execute a Personal Property Lease with Ptl. Earl John
Tefft for use of his motorcycle in furtherance of his duties in
the Police Department.
