RESOLUTION NO.R-78- al 3
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A WAIVER OF THE CITY'S
SIGN ORDINANCE TO TRENDSETTER HOMES.
WHEREAS, an application has been made by Trendsetter
Homes for a waiver of the City's sign ordinance for an entry sign
at the Southeast corner of the Racket & Swim Club, one by the
first tee of the Golf Course, and one across University Drive
on either side of N. W. 78th Street (see attached map); and
WHEREAS a hardship is claimed in that the developer of
Woodmont has not installed project directional signs as approved
by the City in 197Q and the change in Woodmont Management has made
this an item of low priority and Trendsetter Homes feels these
signs are essential to the success of their project; and
WHEREAS, the granting of said waiver is in the best
interests of the citizens of said City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That pursuant to the terms of Sec. 21-15
of the Tamarac City Code, a waiver is granted to Trendsetter Homes
for signs as noted above.
