CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION REGARDING A PROPOSAL OF THE
CITY OF LAUDERDALE LAKES TO ANNEX CERTAIN
UNINCORPORATED LANDS.
WHEREAS, the City Council by Resolution R-78-2 approved the
1978 4-City Boundary Realignment Program and urged the Broward
County Legislative Delegation to support and act favorably on the
proposal, and
WHEREAS, the City has recently received a proposal from the
City of Lauderdale Lakes for the annexation of certain lands, as
shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, a portion of which had been
designated for annexation to the City of Tamarac within the
"Realignment Program" approved by R-78-2, and
WHEREAS, the City Council at the recommendation of the City
Manager wishes to concur in principle to the request of Lauderdale
Lakes for annexation of the property outlined in Exhibit "A".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The City Council does hereby concur in principle
to the proposal of the City of Lauderdale Lakes to annex certain
lands as set forth in Exhibit "A", attached hereto.
