CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RELEASE OF A LETTER
OF CREDIT NO. BT-0032 DRAWN ON SUMMIT BANK,
IN THE AMOUNT OF $36,717.41 BY TAMARAC-LAUDERHILL
CONGREGATION OF JEHOVAH WITNESSES POSTED ON
7/15/77.
WHEREAS, Tamarac -Lauderhill Congregation of Jehovah
Witnesses posted on July 15, 1977, a Letter of Credit, number
BT-0032, for $36,717.41 drawn on the Summit Bank, represent-
ing $34,821.91 to cover subdivision improvements to be constructed
at their project and $1,895.50 as a 257o warranty for certain
improvements which had been completed at that date, and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has inspected the subdivision
improvements and recommends release of that portion of the Letter
of Credit, relating to those improvements, amounting to $34,821.91,
subject to receipt by the City of a warranty bond or Letter of
Credit for $6,982.00, and,
WHEREAS, Tamarac -Lauderhill Congregation of Jehovah
Witnesses has agreed to submit one Letter of Credit to cover the
25% warranty of $1,895.50 and $6,982.00, totaling $8,877.50.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Letter of Credit, number BT-0032
is hereby authorized to be released to Tamarac -Lauderhill Con-
gregation of Jehovah Witnesses upon their submission to the
City of one Letter of Credit, totaling $8,877.50, to cover a
25% warranty of $1,895.50 required by the City on July 14, 1977,
and a 257o warranty of $6,982.00 required by this resolution for
the balance of subdivision improvements constructed at their
project, and subject to confirmation that the City has re-
ceived the $200.00 blasting permit fee.
