CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION N0.7�:3,0
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF
WILLIAM GEMMILL, CITY ATTORNEY, AND APPOINT-
ING THE FIRM OF RUF & JONES AS TEMPORARY
CITY ATTORNEY
WHEREAS, WILLIAM M. GEMMILL, City Attorney, has
tendered his resignation effective February 24, 1978, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac,
has, by motion, accepted the resignation of WILLIAM M.
GEMMILL, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that the firm of
RUF & JONES be appointed as temporary City Attorney.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC:
SECTION 1: That the firm of RUF & JONES be appointed
as temporary City Attorney according to the following fee
schedule:
$200.00 per day for regular Council Meetings,
$35.00 per hour for office work and special
meetings.
$50.00 per hour for hearings and trials.
SECTION 2: That a letter of agreement by and
between the said law firm of RUF $ JONES and the CITY OF
TAMARAC be prepared for submission to the Council for approval
at the earliest possible time so that the scope of services
and terms thereof might be formalized and settled.
