CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. ) - `7?-6 -1--
A RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING THE WEEK OF MAY
15, 1978, AS CIVIL PREPAREDNESS WEEK.
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to recognize the important
contribution of Civil Defense Workers to the general welfare of
the Community, and
To proclaim the week of May 15, 1978 as CIVIL PREPAREDNESS
WEEK.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Tamarac, Florida:
SECTION 1: In order to promote an active interest and to
encourage widespread participation in Civil Defense programs in
the City of Tamarac, the City Council does hereby Proclaim the
Week of May 15, 1978 as CIVIL PREPAREDNESS WEEK.
SECTION 2: The City Council does hereby urge all residents
of Tamarac to become acquainted with Civil Preparedness plans for
the Community.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk is authorized to transmit copies of
this Resolution to the Civil Defense Coordinator for distribution
to clubhouses and other assembly halls in the City.
