CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R 7,f- L 2
A RESOLUTION DISBANDING THE GOLF COURSE
FEASIBILITY STUDY COMMITTEE, EXPRESSING
APPRECIATION TO THE MEMBERSHIP, AND
REPEALING RESOLUTION R-77789.
WHEREAS, the Golf Course Committee has determined that
without the availability of grant funds the acquisition of a
municipal golf course would not be feasible, and
WHEREAS, the City Council feels that the Committee has thus
completed its work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Resolution R-77-89, creating a Golf Course
Feasibility Committee, and appointing members thereto, is hereby
repealed and the Committee is officially disbanded.
SECTION 2: The City Council does hereby express its thanks
and appreciation to each of the Committee members for the contribu-
tion of their time and talents to this endeavor.
SECTION 3: In order to monitor the possible availability
of grant monies to fund the acquisition of a municipal golf course,
the City Manager is hereby authorized to continue to make periodic
inquiries to the appropriate agencies and report their responses
to the City Council.
