CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTIONS R-77-18
AND R-77-175 WHICH CREATED AN ADVISORY CODE
STUDY COMMISSION AND PROVIDED FOR MEMBERS
OF SAID COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac has
recognized that the Code of the City of Tamarac requires up -dating and
clarification, and has created by Resolution R-77-18 an Advisory Code
Study Commission, for the purpose of assessing whether or not the pro-
visions of the City Code are in need of revision, so as to provide for
such updating and clarification, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has by Resolutions 77-18 and
R-77-175 appointed members to the Advisory Code Study Commission to
serve until their resignations, and
WHEREAS, the City Council is now desirous of amending said
resolutions to provide that the five (5) Commission members will serve
for one (1) year terms and at the pleasure of the City Council, and
wishes to appoint members to the Commission for the 1978/1979 Term.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That there is hereby created an Advisory Code
Study Commission, to be composed of five (5) members, a Chairman and
four (4) other members, only.
SECTION 2: The said Commission shall establish rules and
regulations by which it shall conduct its business, which shall be
consistent with all applicable laws, shall elect from its members a
Chairman, and shall make reports and recommendations to the City Council
from time to time.
SECTION 3: The said Commission shall be charged with the
authority to study all facets of the present City Code and to recommend
amendments or clarification to any portion of the Code, it being the
specific intent of the Council that the said Commission shall be vested
only with advisory functions.

SECTION 4: The Commission members shall serve for one (1)
year terms of office and at.the pleasure of the City Council.
SECTION 5: The City Council hereby designates the following
persons to be members of the Advisory Code Study Commission for the
1978/1979 Term.
SECTION 6: This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
