CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-%Ig-qlo
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY COUNCIL TO APPOINT
SEVEN REGULAR MEMBERS TO THE BOARD OF CONSUMER
AFFAIRS AND TO APPOINT FIVE ALTERNATE MEMBERS TO
THE BOARD OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, City Council is desirous of appointing seven
(7) members to the Board of Consumer Affairs, and
WHEREAS, City Council desires to appoint four (4)
alternate members to the Board of Consumer Affairs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the following persons are hereby
appointed as members of the Board of Consumer Affairs for terms
to expire May 11, 1979.
Nat Cohen
Mary Di Candia
Peter Lawson
Charles Levinson
Irving Lopat
Herman Marin
Robert Shurr
SECTION 2: That the alternate members designated by the
Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Tamarac shall
serve for a period of one (1) year until May 11, 1979 and in the
absence or inability of any regular member of the said Board of
Consumer Affairs to serve, said alternate shall thereupon serve
in the place of said regular member, with all the powers and duties
as are vested in said regular member.
SECTION 3: That the following persons are hereby appointed
as alternate members of the Board of Consumer Affairs of the City
of Tamarac.

SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
