RESOLUTION NO. -79-10

A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR A SPECIAL EXCEPTION

TO PERMIT RITE -WAY TRANSMISSION SHOP TO OPERATE
IN A B-2 ZONING DISTRICT AT SUNSHINE PLAZA, 5061

N. STATE ROAD 7, TAMARAC, FLORIDA; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council of the City
8
of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given in accordance with the ap-
9
plicable law of the time and place of public hearing regarding Special Ex-
10
ception to permit Rite -Way Transmission Shop to operate in a B-2 zoning dis-

trict at Sunshine Plaza, 5061 N. State Road 7, Tamarac, Florida; and the
12
said public hearing has been held in accordance with the notice and the
13
public has been given an opportunity to be, and has been heard; and the
14
Council has examined and investigated the request for the Special Exception
15
herein and has received the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the

City of Tamarac; and

WHEREAS, the public hearing has been held on Petition No. 34-Z-78,
18
by the City Council pursuant to the Charter; and
19
1 WHEREAS, the City Council deems that the public health, safety,
20
morals and general welfare of the public would not be adversely affected by
21
granting such Special Exception.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:

SECTION 1: That Rite -Way Transmission Shop, be permitted to
24
operate in a B-2 zoning district at Sunshine Plaza, 5061 N. State Road 7,
25
Tamarac, Florida.

SECTION 2: That approval of the Special Exception is granted
27
on the following conditions: (1 Na parking ears can na -th si ciP of
28
property during working hours. (2) Only dry solvents to be
29
used to clean grease. (3) Development Review Requirements of
30
Land Use Flan appear to have been met.

3 SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately
4 upon its passage.
