CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-79-100
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR MAINTENANCE OF CITY OF
TAMARAC LAWNS, MEDIAN STRIPS AND SWALE AREAS - BID. #79-15.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac, has heretofore advertised for
bids for maintenance of City of Tamarac lawns, median strips and swale areas;
and
WHEREAS, the Council is desirous of awarding the bid for maintenance
of City of Tamarac lawns, median strips and swale areas, to the lowest and
best bidder.
FLORIDA:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
SECTION 1: That the bid of Quality Lawn Service, Inc. in the amount
not to exceed $158,080.00 for period June 1979 thru September 1981, payable
monthly as per schedule, for the maintenance of City of Tamarac lawns, median
strips and swale areas, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof
by reference, is hereby APPROVED, subject to the bidder entering into a contract
with the City in a form acceptable to the City Attorney, incorporating all of the
terms of the specifications and subject to inclusion of provisions allowing the
City to terminate the agreement upon 30 days written notice after a determination
of improper performance is made by the City Manager or for any other reasonable
grounds. The Bidder shall in addition to the sites set forth in the specifications
be responsible for maintenance of the medians on Commercial Boulevard between
the S-Curve and University Drive.
