A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A
MAYORAL PROCLAMATION PROCLAIMING THE WEEK OF
MAY 20th THROUGH THE 26th, AS NATIONAL
PUBLIC WORKS WEEK IN THE CITY OF TAMARAC.
WHEREAS, public works services provided in our community are an
integral part of our citizens' everyday lives; and
WHEREAS, the health, safety and comfort of this community greatly
depends on these facilities and service; and
WHEREAS, the efficiency of any and all personnel who staff public
works activities is materially influenced by their attitude and their
understanding of the importance of the work they perform;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Council does hereby authorize the issuance
of a Mayoral Proclamation Declaring the Week of May 20, 1979
through May 26, 1979 as National Public Works Week in Tamarac.
