CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-79-104
A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING MAKING McNAB ROAD
BETWEEN 64TH AVENUE AND UNIVERSITY DRIVE
A SIX LANE ROAD WITH APPROPRIATE DRAINAGE.
WHEREAS, Broward County plans extensive road work on McNab
Road under the County Bond issue, and
WHEREAS, much of McNab Road east of 64th Avenue is scheduled
to be made six lanes; and
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that ultimate development along
McNab Road will necessitate a six lane road; and
WHEREAS, making McNab Road between 64th Avenue and University
Drive into a six lane road with appropriate drainage will be in the
best interests of all residents and merchants in Northwest Broward
County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Broward County Commission is requested
to proceed to widen McNab Road between 64th Avenue and University
Drive to six lanes with appropriate drainage.
SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall be effective upon
adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 23 day of May, 1979.
