RESOLUTION NO.R- 79-/0 7
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A WAIVER TO THE SIGN
ORDINANCE FOR VILLAS OF WOODMONT.
WHEREAS, Villas of Woodmont has requested a waiver from the
Sign Ordinance No. 75-43 entrance signs; and
WHEREAS, the Beautification Committee reviewed this request,
and has made recommendation thereon; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Building Official has reviewed said waiver
and has made recommendation thereon; and
WHEREAS, a hardship exists because the existing entrance
sign can only be seen from one direction. The additional requested
sign would allow identification of the complex on N.W. 75th Street
for traffic travelling eastward; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to approve said waiver.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the waiver to the Sign Ordinance requested
by Villas of Woodmont, located at N.W. 75th Street and Palm Terrace,
is hereby approved.
SECTION 2: Conditions of Approval: 1) sign approved for
1 side of entry only.
2) sign not to be placed in any portion of the right-of-way,
including the swale.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediatel)
upon its adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 3 day of ,1979.
