3 A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 79-1
4 PERMIT FEES, AND REPEALING RESOLUTION R-79-42
5 WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 0-78-12 authorizes the City Council to
' 6
review the schedule of engineering inspection fees required prior to initiation
7 of construction, developments or other improvements; and
8 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 79-1 and its Exhibit "A" - Schedule of
9
Permit Fees as amended by Resolution No. 79-42, provides for engineering fees; and
10 WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed such fees and has determined
11 it is necessary to revise the fee schedule,
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:

SECTION 1: That Section D, paragraph 1 (a) through (c) of

Exhibit "A": to Resolution No. R-79-1 is hereby amended as follows:

1. An application for an improvement permit shall be filed with the City.
76 Each 'application shall be accompanied by a plan indicating the exact
nature and location of the desired improvements and an itemized,
17 estimated cost of all site improvements, certified by the applicant's
engineer or accountant. The cost of the improvement permit and
18 inspection fees shall be paid in accordance with the following schedule:
19 (a) Canal excavation and bulkheads, bridges, seawalls,
endwalls, headwalls, water distribution, site preparation
20 and beautification ........6,% of construction cost
21 (b) All other improvements ....7,% of construction cost
22 (c) Minimum Total Fee .......... $450.00
to be assessed to any improvement project for which
23 a/site development plan is required.
24 (d) The percentage fee for improvement permits is fixed at
the time the permit is obtained and costs, not
25 percentages, are to be recomputed upon completion of
the work.

SECTION 2: That Resolution No. 79-42 and any other Resolution
27
in conflict herewith, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately
29
upon its adoption.
