CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.� �3
A RESOLUTION REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. R-79-43 AND
PROVIDING FOR A NEW SCHEDULE OF ON SITE AND OFF SITE
ENGINEERING INSPECTION FEES: PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 0-78-12 authorizes the City Council to
review the schedule of engineering inspection fees required to be issued prior
to initiation of construction, development or other improvements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed such fees, and has
determined it is necessary to.revise the fee schedule.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Resolution No. 79-43 and any other Resolution
in conflict herewith, is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2: That the schedule of engineering inspection fees shall
be as follows:
Inspection Fees.
An application for an improvement permit shall be filed with the
City. Each application shall be accompanied by a plan indicating
the exact nature and location of the desired improvements and an
itemized, estimated cost of all site improvements, certified by
the applicant's engineer or accountant.
The cost of permit and inspection fees for improvements under the
City's subdivision improvement ordinance shall be paid in accord-
ance with the following fee schedule:
(a) Canal excavation and bulkheads,
bridges, seawalls, endwalls,
headwalls, water distribution,
site preparation and beautifi-
cation .................. 6,% of construction cost.
(b) All other improvements ... 7,% of construction cost
(c) The minimum total fee to be assessed any
improvement project for which a site
development plan is required, shall be
four hundred fifty dollars ($450.00)
(d) Reinspection Fee .......... ..:$20.00
for each reinspection required pursuant
to Section 24-11 (e) Subdivision improve-
ments, Tamarac City Code.

(e) The percentage fee for improvement
permits is fixed at the time the permit
is obtained and costs, not percentages,
are to be recomputed upon completion
of the work.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its adoption.
