A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF FIRE STATION NO. #2- BID # 79-2
WHEREAS, the City -of Tamarac has heretofore
advertised for bids for a Fire Station, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has received bids for
same and is desirous of awarding the bid for a Fire Station.
to the lowest and best bidder.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION I:that the bid of Apelquist Construction Co.
in the amount of $156,543.01 plus $ 2010.40 alternate
proposal for solar water heating system, and $7.50 cu. yd.
for fill if needed, for the Construction of Fire Station
#2, a copy of which is attached hereto and made part hereof
by reference, is hereby approved.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 25 day of July,1979.

Gentlemen:
The undersigned hereinafter called "Bidder" having visited the ;
site of the proposed project, familiarized himself with the
local conditions, nature and extent of the work, the drawings, P,
specifications, Form of Agreement and Bond Requirements, proposes
to furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to
construct the Tamarac East Side'Fire Station No. 2 at Tamarac,
Florida, and in full accordance with the drawings and specifi-
cations -prepared by the firm of Lawrence Browning, Architect,
824 S.E. 9th St., Deerfield Beach, Florida, and in full accor-
dance with the Notice for Bids, Instructions to Bidders, Form
of Agreement and all other Contract Documents relating thereto
on file in the office of the Architect and if awarded the
contract, to complete the said work within the time limits
specified for the following lump sum bid price:
For selling and delivering all necessary materials, operating
equipment sold to the City of Tamarac, and required supervision
