CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. g- 7 - 4
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA, RECOGNIZING THE ROLE OF, AND ENCOURAGING CHILD
ADVOCACY. INC.
WHEREAS, Child Advocacy, Inc. is a Florida non-profit corporation,
through which the citizens of Broward County may address the problems and
needs of children and youth; and, Child Advocacy, Inc. coordinates planning for
services to children and youth provided by private and public agencies in
Broward County; and
WHEREAS, the active support of local government is essential
to the success of Child Advocacy, Inc. in improving services to children and
youth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City of Tamarac has been advised of the Child
Advocacy, Inc. in representing the interest of children and youth in Broward
County.
SECTION 2: That the City of Tamarac supports the stated aims
of Child Advocacy, Inc. to improve the institutions that affect children.
- SECTION 3: That the City of Tamarac will assist Child Advocacy.,
Inc. in its efforts to coordinate planning by providing information on planned
or existing municipal services for children and youth.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective upon its passage.
