CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. 79_ 2.1,P
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MAYOR TO SERVE ON
BROWARD COUNTY PLANNING COUNCIL AND ON SOUTH
FLORIDA REGIONAL PLANNING COUNCIL AS PART OF
HIS FUNCTIONS AS'A'CITY OFFICIAL
WHEREAS, local'government representation on the Broward County
and the South Florida Regional Planning Councils is mandated; and
WHEREAS, representation on said Boards by the Mayor of Tamarac
is in the best intrests of the City; and
WHEREAS, the Tamarac City Council wants to authorize said
representation by the Mayor as a part of his duty as Mayor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Mayor of the City of Tamarac's service on
the Broward County and the South Florida Regional Planning Councils is an
ex officio part of his duty as Mayor and said service is recognized and
authorized.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall be effective upon adoption.
