1 CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
Z RESOLUTION NO. R- q-o7
3 A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE
SPECIAL BOND ELECTION HELD ON OCTOBER 9,1979.

5 WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. R-79-204, a Special
6 Bond Election was held to issue bonds for the acquisition and
7 improvement. of Tamarac Utilities, Inc., and
8 WHEREAS, the County Canvassing Board has canvassed the results
9 of the machine voting and the absentee ballots, and has certified
10 such results to the City Clerk of the City of Tamarac; and
11 WHEREAS, the City Clerk has reviewed the certification from
12 the County Canvassing Board, and has presented her findings to the
13 City Council for a formal Certification and Declaration of the Results.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
15 FLORIDA:
76 SECTION 1: The following is the certified result of the votes
17 received for the Special Bond Election:
18 Shall the bonds of the City of Tamarac, Florida in an aggregate
19 principal amount of not exceeding $15,000,000.00 be issued for the
20 purpose of providing funds, together with any other available funds,
21 for paying the cost of acquiring the water treatment and distribution
22 system and the wastewater collection and disposal system owned by
23 Tamarac Utilities, Inc. and acquiring and constructing improvements to
24 such systems, such bonds to mature at such time or times not exceeding
25 forty (40) years from their date or dates as may be determined by the
26 City Council, and to bear interest at a rate or rates not exceeding th
27 maximum rate then permitted by law and to be payable solely from the
28 revenues to be derived by the City from its ownership and operation of
29 the systems, together with a certain portion of said bonds?

SECTION 2: The City Clerk is hereby directed to send
copies of this Resolution to the State of Florida Public Service
Commission, the Florida Secretary of State, the Broward County
Property Appraiser and the Broward County Revenue Collector.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
