RESOLUTION NO. R- 7 r..-'2j
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING FEBRUARY 24, 1979 TO
BE EASTER SEAL DAY IN TAMARAC, AND AUTHORIZING
A MAYORAL PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS, the Tamarac FOP in conjunction with the
Broward County Chapter of Easter Seals is sponsering a
Walkathon throughout the City of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, this Walkathon will be initiated with pledges
from business people and other interested parties sponsering
these walkers, and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the great work
performed by the Easter Seals and urges all residents to
participate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Council of the City of Tamarac
hereby declares February 24, 1979 to be "Easter Seal Day
in Tamarac" and authorizes a Mayoral Proclamation.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this day of February, 1979.
