CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA,
RESOLUTION NO. R-79 :a
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SPECIAL USE EXCEPTION
FOR CONSUMPTION OF BEER AND WINE AT TAMARAC
STEAK ENTERPRISES (STEAK PLACE RESTAURANT),
5825 NORTH UNIVERSITY DRIVE, PETITION #19-Z-79.
WHEREAS, the code of the City of Tamarac provides for the granting
of special exceptions by the City Council after a Public Hearing; and,
WHEREAS, Steak Place Restaurant, has applied for a special
exception to permit the consumption of beer and wine on the premises at 5825 North
University Drive, Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing has been held and the public has been
given an opportunity to express their views concerning the application for Special
Exception; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Tamarac finds that the petition
for special exception would be in keeping with the public health, safety and general
welfare of the City of Tamarac.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the petition for special exception to permit the
consumption of beer and wine at the Steak Place Restaurant, 5825 North University
Drive, is hereby APPROVED.
SECTION 2: Conditions of approval (if any):
i� No Service of Beer and Wine between 2:00 AM and 8:00 AM, daily local time.
2) Table service only; 3) landscaping corrections complete prior to
beer & wine service; 4-) parking lot lights to be installed prior to
beer & wine service; 5) clean & Maintain west side of property.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 14 th day of Nov�mber, 1979.
