CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R- % f -27 3
A RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING THE MONTH OF DECEMBER
1979 AS NOVA UNIVERSITY MONTH IN THE CITY OF
TAMARAC; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida,
is aware of the educational programs established by Nova
University, and
WHEREAS, the citizens of Tamarac, Florida of all ages
benefit from having the second largest independent university
in the state of Florida in Broward County, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida,
is desirous of proclaiming the month of December, 1979 as
"Nova University Month".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Tamarac,
Florida, supports execution of a Mayoral Proclamation to
designate the month of December, 1979 as "Nova University Month"
in Tamarac.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
