! RESOLUTION NO. R- 7i-30
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A WAIVER OF THE
CITY'S SIGN ORDINANCE TO UNIVERSITY
HOUSING CORP. FOR CONCORD VILLAGE.
WHEREAS, an.application has been made by University Housing
Corp. for a waiver of the City's sign ordinance for two (2) free-
standing temporary announcing signs at Concord_ Village Project
(see attached map); and
WHEREAS, a hardship has been claimed by the developer of
Concord Village, due to an unusual shaped property with enormous
frontage of 2389 feet on University Drive and 2257 feet on McNab
Road, and the sign is essential to the success of their project;
and
WHEREAS, the granting of said waiver is in the best
interests of the citizens of said City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That pursuant to the terms of Sec.21-15 of
the Tamarac City Code, a waiver is granted to University Housing
Corp. for Concord Village, for the signs as noted above.
SECTION 2: The conditions of the granting of this
waiver are as follows: NO CONDITIONS IMPOSED
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective imme-
diately upon its adoption.
