CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.R-
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE A PERSONAL PROPERTY LEASE WITH
POLICE OFFICER RICHARD GUNDERSON FOR A
MOTORCYCLE.
WHEREAS, a need has been established for use of motorcycles to
enhance the traffic protection of the City; and
WHEREAS, Police Officer Richard Gunderson owns a motorcycle whicY
he has offered to be used by the City as an integral part of the
function of the Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the compensation for said use will be One ($1.00) Dollal
per annum for lease, and payment by the City for insurance, uniform
addition, accessories including but not limited to radio and police
lights and vehicle maintenance; and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the need for motorcycle
patrol -in the City and wishes to authorize execution of said lease.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute a Personal Property Lease with Police Officer Richard
Gunderson for use of his motorcycle in furtherance of his duties
in the Police Department.
