CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. % �— ,54
A RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION 36, HOLIDAYS,
OF TAMARAC PERSONNEL MANUAL.
WHEREAS, by Resolution R-77-212, the City Council approved the
Tamarac Personnel Manual; and
WHEREAS, Section 36 of the Manual sets forth the paid -holidays per
year to which full-time employees of the City are entitled; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended to the City Council that
"President's Day" be added to the list of paid holidays; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to approve this recommendation and
amend the Tamarac Personnel Manual accordingly.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 36 of the Tamarac Personnel Manual as
approved by Resolution R-77-212 is hereby amended by adding thereto,
"President's Day" as an additional paid holiday for all full-time employees,
except those who are classified as temporary.
SECTION 2_: This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this ay of 1979.
