CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. - 9-
A RESOLUTION CONSENTING TO EXCHANGE OF AN
EASEMENT ACROSS PARCEL R, BLOCK 7, TAMARAC
LAKES NORTH
WHEREAS, Broward County currently has an easement across
the Tamarac Lakes North Community; and
WHEREAS, Broward County needs to construct a culvert
across the Tamarac Lakes North Community; and
WHEREAS, the construction of the culvert on the existing
easement would damage shuffleboard courts constructed over or near
the easement; and
WHEREAS, Broward County has expressed a willingness to
exchange the easement for another easement; and
WHEREAS, if the exchange is effectuated, Broward County
has expressed a willingness to restore the land under which will
be constructed a culvert to the condition it was in prior to the
commencement of any construction; and
WHEREAS, the culvert when constructed will assist its
citizens health, safety and welfare for it will provide additional
water in the Prospect Well field where the City gets its water; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac does not claim any interest
in any of the property involved in the exchange; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac has been requested to
approve the exchange.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The City of Tamarac while not claiming any
interest in any of the property involved in the proposed exchange
of easements.set forth above, consents and has no objection to
said exchange. The property that is the subject of the proposed
exchange is set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
SECTION 2: A copy of this Resolution shall be furnished
to the Broward County Water Resource Division, the City National

SECTION 3: This Resolution shall be effective immediately
upon its adoption.
