CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R- 79-
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RELEASE OF THE
SUBDIVISION IMPROVEMENT BOND POSTED BY
UNITED FEDERAL SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION
OF BROWARD COUNTY.
WHEREAS, a subdivision improvement bond in the sum of
$51,315.00 was posted by United Federal Savings and Loan
Association as principal, and Fidelity and Deposit Company of
Maryland as Surety, and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made final inspection and
recommends release of said surety bond subject to submission
of a twenty-five (25%) percent warranty bond in the amount of
$4,325.23, and additional engineering fees in the amount of
$1,084.11, and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept the recommend-
ation of the City Engineer by releasing said surety bond.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION l: That the $51,315.00 bond posted by United
Federal Savings & Loan Association of Broward County as principal,
and Fidelity & Deposit Company of Maryland as surety, is hereby
released subject to submission of a twenty-five (25%) percent
warranty bond in the amount of $4,325.23 for a period of one (.1)
year and submission of engineering inspection fees in the
amount of $1,084.11.
SECTION 2: This release shall become effective immediately
upon its adoption.
