CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.R- 22-!KQ
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE RELEASE
OF A SUBDIVISION IMPROVEMENT BOND
POSTED BY AVANT CONSTRUCTION CO., INC.
WHEREAS, a Subdivision Improvement Bond in the sum of
$51,598.75 was posted by Avant Construction Co., Inc., as Principal,
and Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland, as Surety, for improve-
ments at Club Shopping Plaza, Steak and Ale Project; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a final inspection and
recommends release of said Surety Bond, subject to submission of
a twenty-five (250) percent Warranty Bond in the amount of $15,466.9s
and payment of additional engineering fees in the amount of $575.63;

WHEREAS, Steak and Ale of Florida, Inc., as Principal, and
Insurance Company of North America, as Surety, have submitted a
twenty-five (25%) percent Maintenance Bond (MNR-02-74-73) in the
proper amount on the date of 5/3/78; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept the recommendation
of the City Engineer, by releasing the Subdivision Improvement Bond.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC:
SECTION 1: That the Surety Bond in the amount of $51,598.75,
posted by Avant Construction Co., Inc., as Principal, and Fidelity
and Deposit Company of Maryland, as Surety, is hereby released, sub-
ject to payment of additional engineering fees to the City in the
amount of $575.63, and subject to receipt by the City of an addendum
rider to Maintenance Bond MNR-02-74-73, posted by Steak and Ale of
Florida, Inc., as Principal, and Insurance Company of North America,
as Surety, reflecting a current effective date.
SECTION 2: That the Maintenance Bond required hereby shall
remain in effect for 1A months from the date of this approval

SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its adoption.
