CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. e-2JZ;�
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A PROPOSAL FOR PUB-
LIC OFFICIAL LIABILITY INSURANCE.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac, has heretofore advertised for bids
for Public Official Liability Insurance; and
WHEREAS, no bids were received, but proposals were in fact received
from a number of insurance carriers; and
WHEREAS, the Council is desirous of awarding the bid for Public
Official Liability Insurance to the lowest and best proposal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the proposal of Municipal Insurers of Florida,
Inc., in the amount of $5,748.00 per year, for a three-year period, for the
Public Official Liability Insurance, a copy of which is attached hereto and made
a part hereto by reference is hereby APPROVED.

Dear Ms. Bertholf:
We are pleased to present the following tentative indication for the captioned
coverage.
Carrier: Midland Insurance Company
Limits: $1,000,000 each loss and annual aggregate
Deductible: $2,500 each loss
Premium: $15,675.00 (3 years prepaid) or 3 equal annual installments of $5,748.00
Conditions: In consideration of the above stated premiums exclusion # (a)
and (10), which reads "The company shall not be liable to make any payment
in connection with any claim made against the insureds:"
(10) For any claim against any attorney, architect, medical personnel,
engineer or accountant while acting in the scope of his professional
duties."
To read:
(10) "For any claim against medical personnel while acting in the scope
of his professional duties".
Please note that the three (3) year prepaid premium is a 10% savings over
annual installments.
Should you wish to bind coverage, please forward net payment to the undersigned.
