CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R- 7�- 7P
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A WAIVER TO THE
SIGN ORDINANCE FOR AMOCO OIL.
WHEREAS, Amoco Oil has requested a waiver from the Sign Ordi-
nance No. 75-43 governing pole signs; and
WHEREAS, the Beautification Committee reviewed this request
for moving a pole sign, and has made recommendation thereon; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Building Official has reviewed said waiver
and has made recommendation thereon; and
WHEREAS, a hardship exists because the State Department of
Transportation has extended the right-of-way line, therefore, the
existing pole sign must be relocated; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to approve said Waiver.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Waiver to the Sign Ordinance requested by
Amoco Oil, which is located on the northeast corner of State Road
Seven and Commercial Boulevard, is hereby approved.
SECTION 2: Conditions of Approval:
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its adoption.
