Res„o #9173 RECEi "ELF CiTY OF September 25, 2000 To: The Honorable Mayor, Joe Schreiber, Vice Mayor, Karen Roberts and City Commissioners: We are writing this letter at the suggestion of Mr. Burgio, as he has informed us that there may be a possibility that the cost of the engineers permit for the construction of our new sea wall might be waived. This casualty has caused us so much stress, physically, psychologically and financially, that it has been almost unbearable. The cost of the sea wall alone will be $32.000.00 not Including repair to our neighbors lawns, repairing the fence the sprinklers and any other expenses that may occur. Mr. Schreiber, if you remember coming out to our place and viewing first hand the damage that has occurred, you know what we are going through. At that time you told us that you would do anything that you could for us. We understand that you people have the power to waive this permit charge. Thank you for considering this request, we would appreciate anything that you can do for us. Thanks Again.
