CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-2000- 3.;)-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA,
APPOINTING MARK E. BERMAN, ALAN L.
GABRIEL AND EUGENE M. STEINFELD TO
SERVE AS SPECIAL MASTER; CASE NO.
1-MI-00; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac has adopted Ordinance No. 0-99-19 establishing a
Special Master to preside over hearings as an alternative to the Code Enforcement Board;
and
WHEREAS, a Special Master has not been appointed to serve the City of Tamarac;
and
WHEREAS, Mark E. Berman, Alan L. Gabriel and Eugene M. Steinfeld meet the
requirements set forth in the City of Tamarac Code § 2-73.02 to serve as Special Master
on a rotating basis to preside over Special Master hearings as needed; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida deems it to be in
the best interests of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to appoint Mark E.
Berman, Alan L. Gabriel and Eugene M. Steinfeld to serve as Special Master.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:

SECTION 1: The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and
confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution.
SECTION 2: That the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida
hereby appoints Mark E. Berman, Alan L. Gabriel and Eugene M. Steinfeld to serve as
Special Master.
SECTION 3: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution
is held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or
application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this
Resolution.
