R-2000-66 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, APPOINTING ONE (1) REGULAR MEMBER TO THE CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD TO FILL AN UNEXPIRED TERM ENDING JUNE 25, 2001, AND APPOINTING TWO (2) ALTERNATE MEMBERS TO THE CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Commission is desirous of appointing one (1) regular member to the Code Enforcement Board to fill an unexpired term ending June 25, 2001, or until such time as reappointments are made; and WHEREAS, the City Commission is desirous of appointing two (2) alternate members to the Code Enforcement Board for terms ending March 20, 2003, or until such time as reappointments are made; and WHEREAS, the City Clerk and Community Development Director recommend approval; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, deems it to be in the best interest of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to appoint members to the Code Enforcement Board. Reso. #8934 03/22/00 Revision #1 March 10, 2000 Revision #2, March 20, 2000 Revision #3, March 21, 2000 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: The foregoing WHEREAS clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution. SECTION 2: That pursuant to Section 162.05, F.S., the following person is HEREBY APPOINTED as a member of the Code Enforcement Board to fill an unexpired term ending June 25, 2001, or until such time as reappointments are made: Les Roth SECTION 3: That pursuant to Section 162,05, F.S., the following persons are HEREBY APPOINTED as alternate members of the Code Enforcement Board with terms ending March 22, 2003, or until such time as reappointments are made. Vince P. Gugliuzza Michelle Horutz SECTION 3: All Resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. SECTION 4: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution is held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or Page 3 Temp. SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption. PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 22nd day of March, 2000.
