Project No. 5181). Dear Mr. Verma: Two (2) different Maintenance of Traffic arrangements are being considered by the Engineering/Traffic Engineering Divisions for the above project. Please give us the City of Tamarac's preference in this matter at your earliest convenience. Plan "A" In order to allow the overpass contractor to work (basically) uninterrupted by vehicular traffic, University Drive would be closed (except for local traffic) between McNab Road and Southgate Boulevard, beginning at around 8:00 p.m. Friday night and continuing through about 6:00 a.m. the following Monday morning. It is anticipated that University Drive would have to be closed for three (3) separate weekends. Plan "B" During the estimated five -month construction period, up to two (2) lanes (in each direction) of University Drive would be closed for a distance of approximately 2,600 feet North and South of the work zone, for varying periods of time. During peak traffic hours (7:00 to 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.) two (2) traffic lanes would be maintained in each direction. Very truly yours, George A. Edwards,P.E.
