CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-97-_5g�&
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, APPOINTING ONE
(1) REGULAR MEMBER TO THE PUBLIC
INFORMATION COMMITTEE; PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE SATE. -_
WHEREAS, there is currently a regular member vacancy on the Public
Information Committee due to the resignation of one committee member; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission is desirous of appointing one (1) regular
member to the Public Information Committee to fill such vacancy; and
WHEREAS; the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, deems it to be
in the best interests of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac that one regular
member be appointed to the Public Information Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and
confirmed as being true and correct and is hereby made a specific part of this
Resolution.
SECTION 2: That pursuant to Section 2-177 of the Code, the following person is
HEREBY APPOINTED as a regular member of the Public Information Committee to
fulfill an unexpired term ending June 1, 1998, or until such time as reappointments are
made: FLORENCE BOCHENEK
SECTION 3: All Resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
