A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING A QUIT CLAIM
DEED FROM BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, OF COUNTY -
OWNED PROPERTY, LOCATED IN TAMARAC, FLORIDA,
ACQUIRED BY THE COUNTY BY VIRTUE OF THE
PROPERTY BEING DELINQUENT AD VALOREM TAX
PAYMENTS LANDS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the properties legally described as:
1. Tax Deed #11339: Property I.D. #9112 01 0126; FORT
LAUDERDALE TRUCK FARMS; 12-49-41 4-31 B PT OF TR
15 LYING SELY OF FSTA R/W, LESS PT INC IN OR

2. Tax Deed #12034: PROPERTY I.D. 9114 09 173;
WOODLANDS SEC SEVEN 67-41 B PORTION PARCEL G-16
DESC AS BEG E CORNER OF SAID PARCEL, BEING A PT IN
NLY LINE OF BAMBOO CIRCLE, W 190.03 TO NW COR OF
PARCEL, SELY 103, NELY 110.60 TO POB BLK 36
located in the City of Tamarac, Florida have escheated to Broward County, Florida as
a result of delinquent ad valorem tax payments; and
WHEREAS, Fla. Stat. §197.592, requires land acquired by a county for
delinquent ad valorem tax payments to be conveyed to the municipality in which it is
located, free of any liens of record, and
WHEREAS, Broward County, Florida has recorded a Quit Claim Deed for the
transfer of the above -described property to the City of Tamarac, Florida, a copy of the

recorded Quit Claim Deed is attached hereto as EXHIBIT A; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida deems it to be in the
best interest of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to accept the Quit
Claim Deed from Broward County, Florida.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECT That the foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified
and confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this
Resolution.
SECTION 2; That the City Commission hereby accepts the Quit Claim
Deed of the properties legally described as:
1. Tax Deed #11339: Property I.D. #9112 01 0126; FORT
LAUDERDALE TRUCK FARMS; 12-49-41 4-31 B PT OF TR

from Broward County.
-SECTION • All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are

hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: If any clause, section, other part or application of this
Resolution is held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or
invalid, in part or application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions
or applications of this Resolution.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
passage and adoption.

THIS DEED, made thisL day of 1996� by BROWARD
COUNTY, a political subdivision of the state of Florida, whose address is Governmental
Center, 115 South Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 33301, and City of
Tamarac, a Florida municipal corporation, whose address is 7525 Northwest 88 Avenue,
Tamarac, Florida 33321-2401.
WITNESSETH:
That BROWARD COUNTY, for good and sufficient consideration, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained and sold to the City of Tamarac,
its heirs, successors and assigns forever, lands lying and being in Broward County,
Florida, which property is legally described on the attached Exhibit B.
SUBJECT TO ALL EXISTING PUBLIC PURPOSE UTILITY AND GOVERNMENT
EASEMENTS AND RIGHTS OF WAY.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, BROWARD COUNTY has caused these presents to be
executed in its name by its Board of County Commissioners acting by the Chairman or
Vice Chair of said Board, the day and year aforesaid.

Claim Deed, a tax deed that has escheated to Broward County for delinquent real
estate taxes to the City of Hollywood, and authorize the Chair and Clerk to'execute
and record this deed.

14. MOTION TO ADOPT Resolution 1997-644 authorizing the conveyance by Quit
Claim Deed, various tax deed properties that have escheated to Broward County for
delinquent real estate taxes to the City of Tamarac, and authorize Chair and Clerk to
execute and record this deed.

15. MOTION TO ADOPT Resolution 1997-645 authorizing the conveyance by Quit
Claim Deed, various tax deed properties that have escheated to Broward County for
delinquent real estate taxes to the City of Plantation and authorize the Chair and Clerk
to execute and record this deed.
ACTION: (A-471) Approved.
16. MOTION TO ADOPT Resolution 1997-646 authorizing the conveyance by Quit
Claim Deed, various tax deed properties that -have escheated to Broward County for
Delinquent Real Estate taxes to the City of Pompano Beach, and authorize Chair and
Clerk to execute and record this deed.
ACTION: (A-471) Approved.
17. MOTION TO ADOPT Resolution 1997-647 authorizing the conveyance by Quit
Claim Deed, a tax deed that has escheated to Broward County for delinquent real
estate taxes to the City of Lauderdale Lakes, and authorize Chair and Clerk to execute
and record this deed.
ACTION: (A-471) Approved.
