CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-97- -SO
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, DISCHARGING THE
REDISTRICTING COMMITTEE IN CONFORMANCE
WITH SECTION 6.03 OF THE CITY CHARTER;
PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, a Redistricting Committee was appointed on April 24, 1996 as
required by Section 6.03 of the City Charter; and
WHEREAS, the term of the Redistricting Committee ends at the last City
Commission meeting prior to the next municipal election day as required by Section
6.03 of the City Charter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Commission expresses its appreciation to the
Redistricting Committee for their outstanding contribution to the City of Tamarac.
SECTION 2: That the redistricting report, which is advisory to the City
Commission, was presented to the City Commission on July 1, 1996, and is now on file
with the City Clerk for viewing and purchase by the public.
SECTION 3 All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.

SE TION 4: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution is
held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or
application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this
Resolution.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
