RESOLUTION NO. R-91- l/ /
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO,
R-91-79, WHICH REQUESTED THE BROWARD
COUNTY TRAFFIC ENGINEERING DIVISION TO
INVESTIGATE THE NEED FOR REDUCING THE
SPEED LIMIT FROM 30 MILES PER HOUR TO
25 MILES PER HOUR TO CORRECT A
SCRIVENER'S ERROR BY CHANGING
"NW 71 STREET" TO "NW 71 PLACE"
FROM NW 108 TERRACE TO NOB HILL ROAD,
TAMARAC; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, on May 1, 1991, the City Council approved
Resolution R--91-79, which requested the Broward County Traffic
Engineering Division to investigate the need for reducing the speed
limit on NW 71 "Street" from 30 miles per hour to 25 miles per hour
from NW 108 Terrace to Nob Hill Road, Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to correct a
scrivener's error by amending "NW 71 Street" to read "NW 71 Place".
1' NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 1 of Resolution R-91-79 shall be
ised to read as follows:
"SECTION 1: That the Broward County Traffic Engineering
Division is hereby requested to investigate to determine if reduc-
ing the speed limit to 25 miles per hour on NW 71 Street Place
from NW 108 Terrace to Nob Hill Road, Tamarac, is reasonable and in
conformity to criteria promulgated by the Department of Transporta-
tion."
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption. vt
