CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R--91- /oZS
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A WAIVER TO THE
SIGN CODE REQUESTED BY BANK OF NORTH
AMERICA (FORMERLY COMMONWEALTH) FOR A
SECONDARY SIGN WHICH WOULD EXCEED THE
SIZE LIMIT; LOCATED AT 7118 UNIVERSITY
DRIVE, TAMARAC; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Bank of North America (formerly Commonwealth) has
requested a waiver from Code Section 18 governing signs; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Building Official reviewed said waiver.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the waiver to the Sign Code Section 18
requested by Bank of North America (formerly Commonwealth) for a
secondary sign which would exceed twelve (12) square feet or 25% of
the sign area of the primary sign located at 7118 University Drive,
Tamarac, is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: Conditions of approval:
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
